Pattern Release: Ribbed For Your Pleasure Pullover

Introducing the Ribbed For Your Pleasure Pullover.

When thinking about what I wanted to design next, I envisioned a warm, squishy and comfortable pullover, and I’m proud to say this pattern hits all those descriptive markers.

The pattern is beginner-friendly, with tips for modifying and guides to assist you with increasing while staying in the 4×2 rib stitch pattern. Written for up to 9 sizes with bust measurements from 30″ to 62″ with 0-3″ of positive ease written in, you can adjust the sizing for a body-hugging or more relaxed look. As a bonus, the garment is knitted top-down from the neck, so you can try it on as you knit to ensure a fit that works best for you and your body.

I used 100% Blue Faced Leicester yarn for the sample because I wanted it to have added drape, but you can utilize other yarn options depending on the final look you want to achieve.

Here are some yarn suggestions from my testers:

  • Madeline Tosh Farm twist 100% Superwash merino
  • Hobbii Acacia (51% Acrylic, 49% Cotton)
  • Manos del Uruguay Feliz, 70% superwash merino, 30% modal
  • Scheepjes Colour Crafter; 100% Premium Acrylic

Perfect for any season, you can snuggle up in this beautiful oversized pullover while staying warm during the Winter or throw it on over your t-shirt and shorts on a summer’s night.

I hope you enjoy this pullover pattern as much as I enjoyed designing it and that you end up with a finished garment that is ribbed for your pleasure.
